I was unsure about a plus size gothic dress online, but this one worked out. The polyester taffeta-ish fabric is a bit shiny under bright light, but the lace details are lovely. I wore it with a blouse underneath and it looked great for a convention. The bowknot in back is adjustable.
This is a nice white lolita JSK. The multi-layered chiffon gives it good volume. I'm 5'4" and it hits above the knee, which is what I wanted. Only complaint is the lace on the bodice is a little stiff. Sizing is true to the chart, so measure yourself first.
I adore this dress. The white lace and ruffle layers make it feel very elegant, almost bridal. It's sleeveless so I added a sheer bolero. The plus size fit is accurate to the size chart. Stitching is clean and the chiffon drapes nicely. Perfect for a romantic gothic look.
The lace and ruffles are really pretty in person. I got a 2X and it fits more like a 1X, so keep that in mind. The chiffon layers are soft and not scratchy. Wore it to a tea party and got compliments. The bowknot is a bit floppy, but I steamed it and it was fine.
This exceeded my expectations. The lace is delicate but sturdy, and the bowknot adds a cute touch. I'm a 3X and it fits perfectly with room to move. The short length is flattering. I wore it to a photo shoot and everyone asked where I got it. Highly recommend for plus size lolita fans.
