This dress is even cuter in person. The blue is a lovely navy shade and the penguin print is sweet without being childish. Ruffles and bowknot are well sewn. Fabric is polyester and cotton, feels sturdy not flimsy. I wore it to a convention and got so many compliments. Fits true to size for me.
The dress itself is lovely. Print is clear and the ruffles lay nicely. My only complaint is sizing: I usually wear a medium but needed a large. The polyester blend has little stretch, so size up if between. Bowknot is a bit floppy but can be retied. Still a nice sweet lolita piece for the price.
This dress exceeded my expectations. The navy blue with penguin print is unique and cute. Short sleeves and sweet ruffle details make it easy to wear casually or dress up. Bowknot is detachable? No, it's sewn on but well placed. Polyester-cotton feels nice. I got a small and it fits my 32" bust perfectly. Definitely recommend.
