The dress itself is lovely, but I recommend sizing up if you are between sizes. The waist was a bit snug on me. The purple is more muted than the photo, which I actually prefer. Ruffles lay flat and the bow ties well.
Wore this to a convention and everyone asked where I got it. The open front design is great for different body types. Ruffles are soft, not scratchy. I sized up for a looser fit and it worked. The bow is detachable which is a bonus.
The lace and pearl trim really make this dress. Fabric is polyester but looks like real jacquard. Square collar is flattering. I am a size 18 and the plus size fit well. Only wish it had pockets. Otherwise perfect.
I wore this for a tea party and felt like a princess. The jacquard fabric has a nice weight. Sleeveless keeps me cool. The open front makes it easy to put on. Pearl details are securely attached. Very happy with this purchase.
The jacquard fabric feels sturdy and the bow is adorable. My only issue is it came folded and had deep creases. A steamer helped. Square collar sits nicely and the ruffles are not too much. True to size for me but check the chart.
