This dress is everything I wanted for my elopement. The black is rich and the lace hem adds just the right amount of drama. The ruching camouflages my tummy, which was a big plus. The fabric has a nice sheen and drapes well. I wore it with a red rose and it was perfect. I got so many compliments! Highly recommend.
The dress is even prettier in person. The lace hem is intricate and the ruched waist gives a beautiful silhouette. I ordered my usual size and it fits perfectly. The polyester is a bit shiny but not cheap-looking. I wore it to a gothic photoshoot and it photographed wonderfully. Very happy with this find.
I wore this for my gothic-themed wedding and received so many compliments! The lace hem is delicate and the ruched detailing is flattering. The polyester fabric is comfortable and not see-through. True to size, I'm 5'6" and 140 lbs, ordered a medium and it fit perfectly. It's a gorgeous dress that made me feel like a dark queen.
The dress is beautiful and well-made for the price. The embroidery and lace are elegant. However, the bodice runs a bit small - I'm between sizes and the large was tight on top but fit fine elsewhere. I'd suggest sizing up if you're busty. Also, the hem is a bit long for me (I'm 5'2") but I plan to get it hemmed. Overall, very happy with the purchase.
