I sent my measurements and it came back fitting like a glove. The wine red is slightly darker than my screen showed but honestly prettier in person. No loose threads, seams are clean. Took 4 days to ship out as stated. Very pleased.
I was worried about the sizing but it fits perfectly. The wine red color is deep and rich, not cheap looking at all. The pleats hold their shape well even after a full day of wear. Wore it to a convention and got so many compliments. Shipping took about a week but worth the wait.
Ordered this for a tea party and it exceeded expectations. The multi-layer pleats give it such a nice silhouette. I'm 5'4" and it hits the floor with flat shoes, which I love. Zipper is smooth. Would definitely buy from this shop again.
The dress itself is gorgeous and well made. However, I'm 5'2" and it pools on the ground even with heels. I'll need to hem it. Also wish the bodice had a bit more structure. Still a solid buy for the price, just be ready to alter if you're short.
The cotton fabric feels sturdy and breathable. I wore it in summer with a petticoat underneath and didn't overheat. Square collar sits nicely, no gaping. Only note: accessories not included, so budget for a blouse or headpiece separately. Still very happy with this purchase.
I wore this over a turtleneck and it worked beautifully. The cotton is thick enough for cold weather but not bulky. Pleats survived a washing machine gentle cycle in a mesh bag. Received it in under a week. Highly recommend for Gothic Lolita fans.
