I wore this to a local lolita meetup and got so many compliments! The black is deep and solid, no weird fading, and the Tower of Dawn bowknot is a gorgeous focal point. It's sleeveless so I added a blouse underneath for winter, and it looked amazing. The ruffles hold their shape well after washing. Infanta never disappoints.
Honestly surprised by how well made this is. The seams are clean, the ruffle hem falls nicely, and the bowknot doesn't look cheap at all. I'm 5'4" and it hits just above the knee, which is perfect. Wore it in summer with a petticoat and stayed comfortable. Already planning to buy another color if they release one.
I was worried it might be itchy since some gothic lolita dresses are, but this one is soft against the skin. The sleeveless cut is great for layering, and the ruffle details are delicate without being over the top. The bowknot sits flat and doesn't flop around. I've washed it twice on gentle and it still looks brand new. Highly recommend for anyone into Infanta pieces.
This dress is so versatile. I've worn it plain for casual days and dressed up with a blouse and headbow for events. The solid black makes it easy to match with any accessories. Fabric has a slight stretch which helps with movement. No loose threads or smell out of the package. Shipping was faster than expected too.
The fabric is nice and the bowknot detail looks just like the photos. I usually wear a medium but sized up based on other reviews, and it still felt snug in the shoulders. The ruffle trim is well sewn though, and it works for spring and fall layering. Wish the sleeves were a bit less tight, but overall a pretty dress for the price.
