Wore this for my graduation photos and got so many compliments. The velvet feels soft and the lace splice on the trumpet sleeves looks way more expensive than it is. True to size, maybe slightly stretchy. The irregular hem is a nice touch. Only thing is it runs a bit long on me at 5'4" but heels fixed that.
I was nervous ordering online but this dress matched the listing. Black velvet with lace details, long sleeves that flare out. I'm 5'7" and it hits just below the knee. Got it for a graduation ceremony and it felt appropriate but still edgy. Zipper works smoothly. Would buy again.
Bought this for my daughter's graduation. She's into gothic style and this was perfect. The lace splicing is well done and the trumpet sleeves give it a elegant vibe. She said it's comfortable and not itchy. Arrived quickly and no weird smell. She's a size medium and it fit true.
The trumpet sleeves are definitely a statement. Velvet is decent quality for polyester, not super thick. I ordered my usual size and it fit fine around the waist but the sleeves are long. Wore it to a gothic-themed event, not graduation, and it worked. Wish the lace was a little softer, it's a bit stiff out of the bag.
