This vest is gorgeous. The jacquard pattern is subtle but rich in person, and the embroidery looks much better than I expected for the price. It's polyester so it doesn't breathe great in summer heat, but layered over a long sleeve it's fine. Lace-up front cinches nicely. I'm 5'4" 125 lbs, took the small and it's slim without being tight.
The embroidery is beautiful and the jacquard gives it a nice weight. Only complaint is sizing — I usually wear a medium and it was snug across the chest, so I exchanged for a large. Also it arrived with a couple wrinkles that needed a steamer. Still worth it once it fit right.
I was nervous ordering online but this looks just like the photos. Black is deep and rich, not faded. The lace-up lets you adjust the fit, which is nice because the vest itself is cut slim. Wore it over a white blouse to a concert and it held up all night.
Really nice vest. The jacquard fabric has a subtle sheen and the lace and embroidery are done neatly. It does not stretch much since it's polyester, so keep that in mind. I'm 5'7" 140 lbs and the medium fits perfectly. Great for layering.
Wore this to a local goth night and got three compliments. The lace trim along the front and the lace-up detail are both well done, no loose threads anywhere. Fits slim as described, so if you're between sizes I'd size up. Definitely going to wear this a lot in fall.
Bought this for a ren faire outfit and it worked perfectly. The lace-up front is functional, not just decorative, so you can loosen or tighten it. Slim cut, so it hugs the body. Fabric is a little warm but that's expected with polyester. Very happy.
Genuinely impressed. The jacquard weave, the embroidery, the lace-up — all look far more expensive than they are. It's slim fitting so measure yourself first. Wore it to a birthday party and everyone asked where I got it. Would buy again.
Nice gothic vest, well made, embroidery is clean. Fits true to a slim cut. I wear it with a black skirt and boots. Only thing is I wish it came in more colors. Shipping took about a week.
