I was unsure about 100% polyester but it feels sturdy. The pleats are tight and even, not bulky. The side zipper is easy on and off. Dress is true to size. I'm 5'4" and the A-hem hits just above the knee. Wore it to a punk show and it fit the vibe.
The dress looks great and the pleats are very flattering. The bow is a cute touch. My only issue is the side zipper sticks a little near the waist. Once it's on, it's comfortable and not tight. Wore it in summer and it was okay, just a bit warm.
The collected waist really does make me look slimmer. Zipper is smooth, back catch works, and the chest isn't tight. I wore it all day at a festival and forgot I had it on. The plaid is bold and the bow adds a playful touch. Definitely recommend.
