Ordered the red in medium and it matches the listing photos perfectly. The stand up collar holds its shape and the back lace up is functional. Slim fit, so it hugs the body. Wore it to a ren faire and it was a hit.
I was nervous about the red being too bright but it's a deep, rich wine color. The front lace decals look exactly like the photos. It's slim fitting, so keep that in mind. Very happy with this purchase.
The gothic lace on the front is what sold me and it doesn't disappoint. Velvet is high quality and the red is gorgeous. The back drawstring makes it adjustable. Fits true to size. Would buy again.
Wore this to a concert and got so many compliments. The stand up collar stays up and the material feels expensive, not cheap at all. The back drawstring lets me cinch the waist just right. True to size for me.
The coat is beautiful and the velvet is soft. My only issue is the arms are a bit tight and I don't have very big arms. The chest lace is lovely though. I'd recommend going one size up if you're between sizes.
The velvet is thick and the lace detail on the chest looks great in person. I'm usually a medium and this fit more like a small, so size up. The back lacing helps a bit but the shoulders are narrow. Still keeping it because the red is stunning.
Honestly surprised by how nice the velveteen is. It has some weight to it and doesn't feel like cheap polyester. The back lacing is a nice touch and actually works for adjusting. I'm 5'4" 130lbs and the small fits perfectly.
This is my first gothic coat and I love it. The collar is dramatic without being costume-y, and the lace on the chest is elegant. I wore it over a black dress and it looked amazing. Got the black one too after this.
