Wore the set to a tea ceremony and stayed comfortable for hours. The high waist is flattering and doesn't dig in. Black and white color scheme goes with everything. Sleeves are long but I rolled them once. Got asked where I bought it three times.
This hanfu dress set is now my favorite. The high waist elongates my legs, and the black and white palette is dramatic without being loud. Embroidery is delicate. I hand washed cold and it held up fine. Shipping took about two weeks but worth the wait.
Bought this for a cultural festival and it was a hit. The chiffon skirt moves nicely when walking. Velvet accents on the cuffs add a rich touch. Not see through. I sized up for a looser fit and it still looked elegant. Will wear again in spring.
Ordered this for a photoshoot and it photographed beautifully. The embroidery on the stand collar and sleeves is neat, not scratchy. Polyester blend has a nice weight, not cheap feeling. Skirt part is flowy chiffon. I'm 5'4" and the shorty length was perfect.
I wore this for Lunar New Year and got so many compliments. The magpie feather print is subtle and pretty. High waist hits just right, and the velvet trim feels nicer than I expected for the price. Long sleeves are roomy enough to eat in. Would buy again.
I was nervous ordering online but this exceeded expectations. Fabric mix feels substantial, the cotton lining in the bodice is soft. Embroidered magpie feathers look hand done. Stand collar stays up nicely. Fits true to my usual size medium.
The design is lovely and the embroidery is well done. My only issue is sizing: the high waist was snug on me, so consider sizing up if between sizes. Sleeves are quite long for petite frames. Otherwise, the fabric feels nice and the set looks expensive.
