Ordered my usual size and the fitted cut works. Material is soft with good elastic, not cheap feeling. The button strip and side ruffles are neat, and the trumpet sleeves have lots of frills. I wore it with high-waisted pants and it looked put together.
I was worried the sleeves would be stiff, but they move well. The double-layer hem ruffles sit right at my waist. It is a bit sheer, so I wear a black cami under it. The rose jabot is my favorite part, and it secures easily at the neck.
The short hemline and double ruffles add a lot of shape over a skirt. Sleeves are long and flare at the wrist, exactly as pictured. I like that the jabot comes off if I want a simpler look. Black color is deep and didn't fade after one cold wash.
I have worn this twice and it holds up. Stitching on the ruffles is even, and the spandex gives just enough give. It is transparent, so plan your underlayer. The rose ornament on the jabot is a nice detail. Would buy again in another color.
The ruffles and rose jabot are lovely, and the stretch is comfortable. My only issue is the transparency; you definitely need something underneath. Sleeves are a bit long on my arms, but that is fine for the trumpet style. Still a solid punk piece.
This blouse is exactly the drama I wanted. The ruffles and trumpet sleeves are layered nicely, and the detachable lace jabot with the rose ornament really makes it. Polyester-spandex has good stretch, so it fits close without pinching. Wore it to a goth club night and got compliments all night.
This top is over the top in the best way. Ruff collar, button strip with side ruffles, double-layer hem, and layered trumpet sleeves all match the description. Detachable lace jabot is well made. I sized up for a slightly relaxed fit and it still looks fitted.
