The red to black fade looks exactly like the photos, and the velvet feels dense and cozy. Only issue is the open sleeves run long on me, so they hang past my hands. The front strings help adjust the neck. Great for cool weather cosplay, just be ready to hem or pin the sleeves.
Wore this to a ren faire and got so many compliments on the gradient. The velvet is thick and stretchy, and the neck strings keep the hood up without choking. Hand openings are a nice touch. Sizing runs a bit generous, I could layer a dress under it easily. Would buy again.
Velvet is soft and stretchy, not stiff. The hand slits let me actually use my phone while wearing it. Gradient red into black is bold and eye catching. I sized up for a looser flow and it worked. Washed on gentle and it held up fine.
I'm 5'6" and got a medium, and it drapes perfectly to my calves. The gradient is even and vivid, not cheap looking. Hood stays put thanks to the front ties. Wore it over a black dress for a Halloween party and felt like a gothic queen. No complaints at all.
