Fabric is polyester, print is black and red, ruffles everywhere. If you read the description, you know what you're getting. It's a solid gothic lolita JSK for the price. The multi-layer design looks great with a blouse underneath.
I was a little nervous ordering because of the 5-7 day processing, but it shipped out right on time. The black and red print is so detailed in person, way prettier than the photos. Ruffles hold their shape well and the polyester fabric has a nice weight to it.
Wore this to a local meetup and got so many compliments. The multi-layer skirt gives it a really full silhouette, even without a petticoat it looks decent. I'm 5'4" and it hits just above the knee. Sugar Girl really nailed the Ancient Dream print.
This JSK exceeded my expectations. The Ancient Dream of the Dark Night print is intricate and the colors are rich. Ruffles are multi-layered and add nice volume. Took 5 days to ship. I'm 5'7" and it's a bit short but still wearable.
The design is stunning and the ruffles are so pretty. Only issue is the sizing runs small in the bust area, so definitely check the size chart before ordering. Fabric is polyester so it's a bit warm in summer, but fine for cooler weather. Shipping took about a week which is expected.
I've bought a few JSKs from different brands and this one feels well made. The polyester isn't cheap feeling, it's soft and has some structure. The ruffle layers give it that authentic gothic lolita look. Would buy from Sugar Girl again.
Paired this with a black blouse and it looked amazing. The red accents on the print really pop against the black. Processing took the full 7 days for me but tracking updated fine. No complaints about the dress itself.
The dark night print is even more beautiful in person. Deep colors, no fading, and the ruffles are sewn on securely. I wore it to a convention and it held up all day. Shipped in 6 days. Really happy with this purchase.
Love the print and the ruffles. It's a true gothic lolita silhouette. The only thing is you'll want a petticoat for maximum poof, but it's not required. Polyester fabric is easy to wash, just be gentle. Very happy.
