Bought this for winter layering and it works great over sweaters. The hood adds warmth around my neck. Print and embroidery are both subtle and classy. Only note: it's polyester, so don't expect wool warmth. Still five stars for the style.
Ordered my usual size and it hangs past my knees, so it's definitely oversized. The embroidery along the front is neater than I expected. Only complaint is the fabric gets staticky in dry weather. Still happy with it for concerts and photos.
This is my favorite coat now. The black print and embroidery look way better in person, and the hood actually stays up. Polyester is thin but blocks wind okay. Wore it to a ren faire and got compliments all day.
Fits true to size if you like a relaxed fit. The embroidery holds up after a few wears and the black is deep, not faded. Hooded design is practical. I've worn it to shows and around town. No issues so far.
I was worried polyester would feel cheap, but it's soft and drapes nicely. The hood is deep enough to actually cover my head. Wore it to a Halloween party and it worked as a costume and as a regular coat. Would buy again.

The print is subtle in dim light but pops in daylight. Hooded design is comfy. I'm 5'10 and the sleeves end above my wrists, so size up if you have long arms. Otherwise a solid buy and the black hasn't faded after two washes.
The black print blends into the fabric until light hits it, then you see the pattern. Embroidery is clean. It's long enough to feel dramatic without tripping. I'm 6'0 and it hits mid-calf. Very happy with this purchase.
I wasn't sure about polyester but this cloak has a decent heavy feel. The hood is roomy and the print shows up well. The arm openings are a bit tight for layering, so I wear it over thinner shirts. Fine for the price.
