Wore this to a ren faire and got so many compliments. The off shoulder stays put and the trumpet sleeves are dramatic without being annoying. Velvet feels rich. Lace-up back adjusts well. I'm 5'6" 140lbs and medium fits perfectly. The embroidery is gorgeous. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a palace vibe.
This dress exceeded my expectations. The embroidered lace spliced into the velvet looks expensive. I wore it to a concert and felt like a dark queen. The off shoulder neckline stayed in place all night. True to size, I ordered a large for my 38D chest and it fits beautifully.
The dress is gorgeous and the lace detailing is even better in person. Velvet has a nice stretch. My only issue is the trumpet sleeves are quite long on my 5'2" frame, so I'll need to hem them. Otherwise, the off shoulder fit is flattering and the lace-up back gives a great custom feel. Got a small.
