The black is deep and rich, not faded at all. Hood is big enough to cover my head without falling down. I use it for LARP events and it's held up well. Only thing is it wrinkles a bit after storage, but steams out easy.
Bought this for Halloween and ended up wearing it to a concert too. The hood and hollow design make it stand out. Polyester blend means it doesn't wrinkle much. For the price, it's a steal. Got lots of compliments.
I wore this to a ren faire and got so many compliments. The velvet feels soft and the hood stays up nicely. It's lightweight enough for layering but still looks dramatic. The hollow cutout in the back is a nice touch. Definitely my new favorite cloak.
Wasn't sure about the mixed fabrics but it all works together. The lace and chiffon details are lovely. I'm 5'6" and it hits mid-calf, so a bit long but fine with boots. Shipped fast too. Would order again.
The cloak is beautiful and well made. I usually wear a medium but this fits more like a large. The fabric mix is surprisingly soft, no scratchiness. Good for cool weather, not heavy winter. Happy overall but size down if you want a fitted look.
