The black color is deep and the material has a slight sheen like leather. The high waist stays put and the slit makes it easy to move. I paired it with a flowy top and it looked great. Would buy again.
The side slit and high waist look really nice, and the faux leather panels give it that steampunk vibe. I took one star off because it runs small and the polyester doesn't stretch much. Order a size up if you're between sizes.
I was surprised by how well-made this is. The synthetic leather trim looks expensive and the spandex gives just enough stretch. It's slim but not restrictive. I wear it with boots and a cardigan.
This skirt hugs my curves without being too tight. The high waist smooths everything out and the slit adds a nice edge. Great for evening events or just feeling a bit dark and fancy.
Wore this to a convention and got so many compliments. The high waist is flattering and the side slit lets me walk comfortably. Fabric is a bit shiny but looks like leather, which is what I wanted.
I'm 5'6" and 140 lbs, ordered a medium and it fits perfectly. The side slit is just the right height. I've worn it to work with tights and also out to dinner. Very versatile.
