This coat is even better in person. The flocking pattern on the leather is intricate and the stand collar gives it a dramatic look. It's lightweight but warm enough for fall. The hook clasp is a nice detail. I'm 5'6" and 140lbs, size L fits nicely with room for layers.
I was a bit worried about the sizing, but the chart was accurate. I'm usually a size small, and the small fits perfectly. The fabric is so comfortable and doesn't itch. The hook clasp at the neck is intricate and fastens securely. I'll wear this all season.
Wore this to a gothic wedding and received endless compliments. The velvet is luxurious and the flocked leather details are stunning. I appreciate that it's a poncho style so it's easy to slip on. The black color is rich. Definitely a statement piece for any alternative wardrobe.
Absolutely love this poncho! The velvet fabric is so soft and drapes beautifully. The leather loops and gothic clasp add such a unique touch. I've gotten so many compliments. Runs true to size, I got a medium and it fits perfectly over sweaters.
I really like the design and the quality of the velvet, but the leather loops on the cuffs feel a bit delicate. I've only worn it a few times, so I hope they hold up. The fit is roomy and comfortable, and the gothic clasp is gorgeous. Overall, very happy with the purchase.
