I was worried white would look cheap but the embroidered lace is so detailed. Square collar sits perfectly and the overlay gives it a nice flow. Wore it to a concert and got so many compliments. Polyester but doesn't feel stiff.
I paired this with black boots and a wide brim hat. The square collar frames my collarbone nicely. Lace overlay is delicate but didn't snag. Washed on gentle and hung dry, still looks new. Great addition to my gothic wardrobe.
The embroidered lace is the star here. It's not scratchy like some cheap lace. The dress is lightweight and breezy. I wore it to a tea party and felt like a Victorian ghost. True to size for me, small fits like a small.
I've bought similar dresses that fell apart. This one feels well made. The embroidery is tight and even. The square collar holds its shape. I'm 5'7" and it's a bit short but fine with opaque tights. Would recommend.
Wore this to a ren faire and everyone asked where I got it. The lace overlay moves nicely when you walk. It's a bit wrinkly out of the package but steamed out easily. Polyester is cool enough for warm weather. Love it.
