The red is a rich, deep red, not orangey. The square collar frames the neck nicely. The ruffles and bow are well made. I'm 5'4" and the length hits just above the knee. The lace-up back is a bit tricky to tie alone but doable. Worth the price for a unique gothic piece.
I was nervous ordering from a new site, but this dress is stunning. The square collar sits perfectly and the ruffled bow adds just the right touch. The plaid fabric feels sturdy, not cheap. The lace-up back lets me adjust the fit. I wore it to a convention and got so many compliments. Red is vibrant in person, exactly like the photos.

The design is beautiful and the lace-up back helps, but the bust area runs small. I usually wear a medium and needed to size up. The plaid fabric has a nice weight to it. The bow is a bit floppy, but I steamed it. Overall happy with the look, just be careful with sizing.
