Got this for my son's steampunk costume. The red is deep, not bright. The wide ribbon trim and glass buttons look authentically vintage. It's lightweight, so not for winter. He loves it and wants to wear it to school.
The coat looks great and the fabric is decent for polyester. However, the sizing is off. I usually wear a medium but needed a large. The sleeves are tight. Still, the style is unique and the red is vibrant. Worth it if you size up.
I was unsure about the 100% polyester, but it feels plush and not cheap. The jacquard pattern is subtle but visible. The back slit helps when sitting. I wear it open with a black shirt. Sleeves are a bit long on me, but I'm short.
I bought this for a vampire-themed party and it was a hit. The red velvet is soft and hasn't shed. The glass buttons are a nice touch. Fits true to size for a slim build. I just wish it had inside pockets.
Wore this to a concert and got asked where I bought it. The red is rich and the glass buttons catch the light. It's warm enough for fall. The back slit is a nice detail. I'd buy another color if available.
I'm 5'10" and 180 lbs, and the large fits well. The velvet is smooth and the jacquard adds texture. The collar stands up nicely. I've gotten compliments at the goth club. Only downside: no pockets.
