Ordered this for a ren faire and it exceeded expectations. The cotton is thick but not stiff, and the light gold embroidered lace on the cuffs is gorgeous. The drawstring bottom lets me adjust the length a bit. Got compliments all day.
The dress itself is lovely and well-made. The cotton is breathable and the lace detailing is a nice touch. However, I usually wear a L and this felt more like an XL. The drawstring helps, but I'd size down. Still keeping it because the fabric is so nice.
I was worried the lace would look cheap, but it's actually quite nice. The double layer woven fabric feels substantial. I washed it on gentle and hung to dry, no shrinking. The drawstring is a bit long but easy to tuck. Would buy again.
I've worn this three times already. The creamy white goes with everything, and the vintage punk mix is exactly my style. The back ribbon adjusts easily and stays put. The sleeves are a bit long on me but I just roll them. Very happy with this purchase.
The creamy white is more of a soft ivory, which I prefer. The three-dimensional ribbons on the chest add such nice texture. I'm 5'4" and 130 lbs, size M fits perfectly with the back elastic. Wore it to a tea party and felt so elegant.
Used this for a photoshoot and it photographed beautifully. The embroidery catches the light in a subtle way. The elastic back makes it comfortable to sit in. Only note: it wrinkles easily, so steam it before wearing. Still a solid 5.
Was nervous ordering online but this looks just like the photos. The light gold lace on the hem is delicate and the cotton is soft. I'm 5'7", 150 lbs, and the L fits well. The drawstring bottom lets me make it shorter for boots. No complaints.
