I was hesitant about the polyester blend but it feels surprisingly nice and has a slight stretch. The ruffle details along the front are subtle but add a lot. Sleeves are long enough for my 6'1 frame. Great for layering under a vest or wearing alone.
The embroidery on this blouse is intricate and the ruffle trim is elegant. Puff sleeves are long and dramatic. I'm 5'9 140lbs and the small fits perfectly. Wore it to a vampire ball and it was a hit. Highly recommend for any goth wardrobe.
The black is deep and rich, not faded. Jacquard pattern is visible but not overpowering. Stand collar stays up nicely. I wore it to a formal gothic event and it worked perfectly. Fabric is a cotton-poly blend so it breathes better than pure polyester.
For the price, this is a steal. The jacquard fabric has a nice weight and the embroidery is dense. Stand collar is stiff enough to stay upright. I'm 5'10 180lbs, large fits perfectly. Got compliments from strangers at a concert.
I've bought several gothic blouses and this one is top tier. The ruffle and embroidery are neatly done, no loose threads. Puff sleeves are dramatic in the best way. I sized up for a looser fit and it drapes beautifully. Washes cold and hangs dry with no issues.
The design is beautiful, but definitely size up. I'm usually a small and ordered a medium based on reviews, still a bit snug in the shoulders. The puff sleeves make it feel tighter. Otherwise, the embroidery and ruffles are lovely.
Love the look and the embroidery is well done. However, the puff sleeves are very voluminous. If you have broad shoulders it might feel a bit much. I'm 5'7 160lbs and got a medium, fits well except sleeves are statement-level. Still keeping it.
I like the gothic style and the jacquard pattern is cool. But the polyester makes it a bit warm for summer events. Also, the ruffle at the collar is a bit scratchy. Still, it looks great with black trousers and boots. Fits true to size for me.
