The wine color is rich and the metal rivets look great in person. I usually wear a L but ordered XL based on the size chart, and it fits well. The dovetail back is a nice detail. Only reason for 4 stars is the polyester feels a bit stiff out of the bag. Hoping it softens with wear.
Absolutely love this. The dovetail back is my favorite part, it flows when you walk. The metal rivets are securely attached. I'm 5'9" 150lbs and the small fits great. The polyester is a bit shiny but that's typical for velvet. Great for layering over a black shirt. Would buy again.
Wore this to a dark alternative club night and got so many compliments. The embroidery on the lapels is detailed and the metal nails give it an edgy feel. The jacquard fabric on the collar and cuffs is a nice contrast. It's lightweight but well made. True to size for me, I'm 5'10" 170lbs and the medium fits perfectly.
I was skeptical about ordering online but this exceeded expectations. The red is a deep wine, not bright. Embroidery is clean. I wore it to a convention and it held up all day. The cuffs have that crumpled jacquard texture that looks very gothic. Fits true to size, maybe slightly roomy in shoulders.
This coat is exactly what I hoped for. The wine velvet splicing with black jacquard looks luxurious in person. The dovetail in the back adds a dramatic silhouette. I'm 6'0" and the large gives me room to layer a hoodie underneath. Zipper is smooth. No issues with the rivets falling off so far.
