I was worried it'd look cheap but it doesn't. The brown wash has nice variation and the studs are evenly placed. Fits true to size for me at 5'11", 180lbs. Gets a lot of attention when I wear it out.
Bought this for a convention and it was a hit. The brown faded fabric panels and studded rope details look even better in person. Heavy enough for cool weather without being stiff. I'm 6'0" and the large hits mid-calf. Only thing is it's mostly cotton blend, so don't expect real leather armor thickness.
Wasn't sure about the 4% synthetic leather but it works. The coffee washed squares give it that worn vintage vibe I wanted. Wore it to a ren faire all day, no rips, no weird smell. Front loops open easily when you need to move. Got compliments from strangers.
Fits well, looks awesome, and the price was fair. The faded fabric squares and rope details set it apart from plain coats. I'm 5'10" and the medium is perfect. Just remember accessories aren't included.
The string on rope and studded corns give it that rugged steampunk feel. Long enough to cover a tunic. Material is a cotton poly mix so it breathes better than leather. Great buy for the money.
Used this for a steampunk character and it completed the outfit. The faded square patches look authentically aged. Sturdy buttons and the front loops actually open. Not heavy like real leather, which I prefer for long events.
The patchwork splicing is neat and the studs feel secure. It's long, so if you're short you might want to hem it. I'm 5'9" and it reaches my knees. Pair it with boots and a vest and you're set. Shipping was quick too.
Wore this on a chilly evening and it kept me warm. The rope and stud details are a cool touch. Wish the sleeves were a bit longer on me, but that's my build. The cotton blend means it wrinkles if you leave it crumpled.
Looks great and the patchwork is well done. It's thinner than I imagined, more like a heavy shirt than a coat. Fine for fall but not deep winter. The brown is a rich coffee shade, not too orange.
Good quality stitching and the brown color matches the photos. My only complaint is sizing runs large. I usually wear XL but should've sized down. Also it's not real leather, so keep expectations realistic. Still a fun costume piece.
