The dress is well made for the price, with sturdy TR fabric. The red is a true cherry red. I sized down based on other reviews and it fit better. Still a bit loose in the waist. Ruffle and bowknot are cute details. Good for casual Lolita wear, not super formal.
I ordered this for a convention and it was perfect. The plaid print is classic, and the bowknot adds just enough sweet detail. Short sleeves kept me cool. I'm a 3X and the plus size fit is generous without being baggy. The ruffle hem is full but not overwhelming. Got so many compliments!
I was worried about the TR fabric feeling cheap, but it's actually soft and holds the ruffle shape well. The red plaid is vibrant, not dull at all. Bowknot is sewn securely. Wore it to a picnic and got compliments all day. Fits true to size, maybe slightly roomy in the bust for plus size.
This is my first sweet Lolita OP and I'm hooked. The short sleeves are great for warmer weather, and the print is crisp. I'm a 2X and the plus size support actually works—no tight armpits. The ruffle hem has nice volume with a petticoat. Zipper is smooth. Only nitpick: bowknot could be a bit bigger, but still lovely.
I've bought several Lolita dresses and this one surprised me. The plaid print is sharp, no bleeding colors after a hand wash. Short sleeves have a slight puff that's flattering. The bowknot at the chest is detachable? Actually it's sewn on, but still nice. I'm 5'6" and it hits just above knee. Plus size friendly for sure.
Love the design and the ruffles, but the TR fabric wrinkles a lot after shipping. Had to steam it. Once done, it looks sweet. The red is slightly darker than the photo, more burgundy. Still pretty. Sleeves are short and comfortable. Would recommend for summer.
