The red and black jacquard is striking and the folded cuffs with the crinkle texture are a great detail. I ordered my usual size and it fits, but there's zero give, so don't expect it to stretch. The fabric is thin, which I like for layering, but it wrinkles if you sit too long. Still a solid gothic piece. Four stars only because I wish the sleeves were a touch longer.
The coat itself is beautiful, the red and black jacquard is rich and the velveteen splicing is soft. Fitted and inelastic means you really need to go by the size chart, not your usual size. I'm between sizes and went up, which worked. Thin material, so it's more decorative than warm. The swallowtail and metal nail embroidery look great in photos. Minus one star for the stiff polyester feel.
The wine velveteen and black jacquard look even better in person, and the metal nail embroidery on the lapel is a nice touch. I usually wear a medium but sized up based on the fitted cut, and it's still snug. Thin fabric, so it's more of a layering piece for cooler nights. The swallowtail hem is dramatic in a good way. Removing one star because the polyester feels a bit stiff out of the bag.
This coat pulled together my whole outfit for a convention. The fitted version hugs my waist nicely without being tight in the shoulders. Metal nail embroidery is well attached, nothing loose. It's inelastic, so I'm glad I checked the size chart first. Polyester is a little shiny under bright lights, but the velveteen panels balance it out. Very happy.
Wore this to a goth club night and got compliments all evening. The dovetail hem in the back is stunning when you walk. Lapel embroidery with the metal nails catches the light without being tacky. Fitted but not uncomfortable if you know your measurements. No stretch at all, so keep that in mind. Wish it had pockets, but I'd buy it again.

Velveteen splicing feels soft against the skin. I'm 5'7" and the swallowtail hits right below the hips. Thin material means it's great for indoor events or layering over a turtleneck.
