I was nervous ordering plus size online but this fit perfectly. The purple is a soft wisteria shade, not too bright. The ruffles and big bow make it feel very princess-like. Wore it to a tea party and got so many compliments. The lace details look delicate but held up fine.
Twirl factor is 10/10. The layers swish beautifully. Purple is my favorite color and this shade is just right. I wore it to a birthday party and felt like a hanayome. Plus size friendly and flattering. Would definitely buy from this shop again.
The dress itself is gorgeous. Ruffles, bow, everything is well made. But I'd say it runs about half a size small in the bust. I had to exchange for a larger size. Once I got the right fit, I was happy. Just check the size chart carefully.
Finally a plus size lolita dress that actually has room in the chest and waist. The layers are full without being itchy. The hanayome bow is huge and dramatic in the best way. I paired it with a petticoat and it looked amazing. Polyester cotton blend feels sturdy too.
I've bought cheaper lolita dresses that fell apart. This one feels much better. The cotton blend and lace are nice. The bow is detachable which I didn't expect. Sleeveless design is perfect for layering with a blouse or cardigan. Very happy with this purchase.
Wore this to an anime con all day and it stayed comfortable. Sleeveless so I didn't overheat. The ruffles didn't droop and the bow kept its shape. I'm usually a 2X and the fit was true. Only thing is it wrinkles a bit after sitting, but that's expected.
The wisteria purple is exactly as pictured. Light and dreamy. I love that it's multi-layered so it has nice volume. The lace trim is a lovely touch. I sized up based on measurements and it worked. Great for photos and special occasions.
