I wore this to a darkwave concert and got so many compliments. The velvet is stretchy and soft, and the deep V with the lace-up rope looks exactly like the photos. I'm 5'6" 140 lbs and the medium fits perfectly. The smocking in the back adjusts well. Only thing is accessories aren't included, so buy your own beads if you want the full look.
The dress is beautiful and well-made, but it runs small. I'm usually a small and had to exchange for a medium. The velvet is stretchy, but the waist is snug. The deep V and lace-up are gorgeous. The back tie is a bit fiddly to adjust alone. Still, for the price, it's a great gothic piece. Just size up if you're curvy.
This dress is a showstopper. The tassel chiffon details and the beaded lace on the chest look expensive. The flat shoulders give it a really elegant gothic vibe. The velvet has a nice stretch (3% spandex) and hugs my curves without being uncomfortable. I'm usually a size 8 and the large was perfect for a slightly looser fit.
I bought this for a Halloween party and ended up wearing it to a wedding too. The deep V is sexy but not too revealing, and the back tie lets you adjust the fit. The material is thick enough to feel quality. I'm 5'9" and it hits just above my ankles. The rope tie is a bit long but I just double-knotted it.
The velvet is so soft and the lace-up front is adjustable. I wore it to a goth club and felt amazing. The back smocking really helps if you're between sizes. I'm a 34DD and the medium fit my chest fine with the V-neck. The tassel chiffon sleeves are a nice touch. Just note the accessories in the picture aren't included.
