Wore this to a local Lolita meetup and got so many compliments. The black and white colorway matches everything. Ruffles are well sewn and the bowknot stays tied. Long sleeves are great for cooler weather.
The design is adorable and very gothic. My only complaint is the fabric wrinkles after sitting. A quick steam fixes it. Sizing is accurate per the chart. Bowknot is a bit floppy but manageable.
I was nervous ordering online but this set looks just like the photos. The asymmetric hem is my favorite part. Polyester-cotton fabric has a nice weight. True to size for me, I got a small.
The long sleeves and ruffle details make this feel very elegant. I like that it's not too costume-like. The black and white is classic. I've washed it once on gentle and it held up fine.
I was worried the polyester would be itchy but it's lined enough to be comfy. The asymmetric cut is unique. I wore it for photos and it photographed beautifully. Would buy again in another color.
The asymmetric skirt is really flattering. I'm usually a medium and sized up based on the chart—good call. Top is a bit snug in the shoulders. Fabric is cotton-poly blend, not super soft but okay.
Love the gothic look and the bowknot detail. The ruffle trim is nice. Sleeves are a bit long on me and the polyester feels a little stiff. Still, it's a cute set for the price.
I've bought worse Lolita pieces for triple the cost. This one has sturdy seams and the ruffle doesn't fray. The skirt has a good flare. Wore it to a convention all day, no issues.
