Wore this to a local meetup in October with a long sleeve blouse and it worked great. The fabric has enough weight that it doesn't feel cheap or stiff. Ruffles hold their shape after washing on gentle cycle. Only thing is the waist ribbon needs a good double knot or it slips, but that's minor. Would buy from this shop again.
I've been wanting to try sweet Lolita for a while and this was a great starter piece. The multi-layer ruffle skirt is so twirly and fun. I'm 5'4" and it hits just above the knee, which I like. The hunt-style details are subtle but cute. Shipping took about two weeks but it arrived neatly packaged with no wrinkles.
Bought this for a convention and it was a hit. The layers give it amazing volume even without a huge petticoat underneath. The pink trim is a soft dusty pink, not neon, which I prefer. Zipper glides smoothly. I'm 5'7" and it's a little short on me but still appropriate with bloomers. No regrets.
Honestly better than I expected. The stitching is clean, no loose threads, and the bowknot is sewn on securely. I've worn it three times already, once in summer with just a camisole and once in winter layered over a turtleneck. Works in every season like the description says. The black is a true black, not faded.
I ordered this for my daughter's birthday and she absolutely loves it. The multi-layer ruffles are full and the bow detail is sweet without being childish. She's worn it to a tea party and to school for a dress-up day. Fabric feels durable and it washed well on cold. Would definitely recommend.
The dress itself is really pretty, the pink accents pop nicely against the black. My only complaint is the sizing. I'm usually a medium and ordered a medium, but it's snug around the ribs. If you're between sizes I'd size up, especially if you plan to wear a petticoat. Still keeping it because the ruffles and bow are adorable.
I was a bit nervous ordering a JSK online but this one is gorgeous. The black and pink combo is exactly like the photos, and the multi-layer ruffles give it such a nice full shape. The bowknot in front is a good size, not flimsy at all. I wore it with a white blouse underneath and got so many compliments. Fits true to size for me.
The dress is adorable and the ruffles are exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately the front bowknot was a bit squished in the package and took some steaming to look right. Also the waist ties are a little short. But for the price the quality is solid and the black/pink colorway is really striking in person.
