Took a chance on this and I'm glad I did. The long sleeves make it wearable in spring and fall. Fabric is polyester so it's a bit warm, but the shape is flattering. I styled it with a white blouse underneath for a layered college look. Would buy again in another color if they had one.
The dress itself is adorable and the embroidery looks even better in person. Nice elegant sweet style. My only issue is the sizing: I'm usually a medium and had to size up. Long sleeves are a touch short on me too. Still, for the price, I'm keeping it and wearing it with a cardigan.
Honestly did not expect this quality for the price. Sweet style with a college vibe, exactly what I wanted. The black is deep and the embroidery stitching is clean. I'm 5'4" and it hits just above the knee. Washed it once on gentle and it survived fine.
Ordered my usual size and it fits snug but not tight. The long sleeves are actually long enough for my arms, which never happens. Wore it to a tea party and felt elegant. Polyester means you can't really iron it hot, but it barely wrinkled. The Meisidun embroidery is lovely.
I wore this to my morning lecture and got three compliments before lunch. The black polyester holds a nice shape and the embroidery on the chest is subtle, not loud. Long sleeves keep me warm in air-conditioned rooms. Feels like a sweet college style without being costume-y.
