Wore this to a cultural festival and got so many compliments. The hime sleeves are dramatic and the chiffon layers move beautifully. High waist is flattering and the embroidery looks delicate, not cheap. Fabric is polyester but doesn't feel scratchy. True to size, maybe slightly roomy in the sleeves. Would buy again.
This dress set is so pretty in person. The yellow is soft, not neon. The hime sleeves drape nicely and the embroidered details on the bodice are well done. I wore it for a spring outing and it was comfortable all day. The high waist gives a nice silhouette. I did need a slip underneath because the chiffon is a bit sheer, but that's normal. Very happy.
I bought this for a photoshoot and it exceeded my expectations. The yellow is bright and cheerful, exactly like the photos. The organza overlay gives it a lovely floaty look. Embroidery is neat and the high waist sits just right. I'm 5'4" and the length was fine with heels. Not everyday wear, but for events it's gorgeous.
The dress is beautiful and the embroidery is lovely. However, the sizing runs a bit large, especially in the waist. I had to cinch it with the included sash. The hime sleeves are stunning but can get in the way when eating. Fabric is okay for the price. Still a nice purchase for special occasions, just size down if you're between sizes.
I was hesitant because of the polyester, but the chiffon and organza make it feel more expensive than it is. The hime sleeves are my favorite part, so elegant. I wore it to a tea ceremony and felt appropriately dressed. The high waist is comfortable and doesn't dig in. Embroidery is subtle but pretty. Recommended for hanfu beginners.
