I'm 5'4" and the high waist sits right under my bust, which elongates my legs. The red and black print is striking without being costume-y. Jacquard fabric doesn't wrinkle easily, great for travel. Very happy with this purchase.
I was worried the red would be too bright but it's a deep, rich red against the black. The jacquard fabric feels sturdy and has a lovely woven texture. High waist hits perfectly and the irregular hem gives it that gothic drama. Wore it to a convention and got so many compliments.
The dress itself is beautiful—rich red and black print, sturdy jacquard fabric, flattering high waist. However, without a petticoat it falls a bit flat, so keep that in mind. Also the irregular hem is more subtle than photos suggest. Still a solid buy.
The design is stunning and the jacquard fabric feels high quality. I usually wear a medium but sized up based on the measurements and it fit perfectly. The sleeveless cut is great for layering. Would definitely buy from this brand again.
Ordered this for a Lolita meetup and it exceeded my expectations. The jacquard weave feels luxurious and the stitching is neat. High waist is very flattering. Only note: the red is slightly darker than my screen showed, but I actually prefer it.
The print is even prettier in person. Fabric is thick enough to hold the A-line shape without a petticoat, though I'll still wear one for fuller looks. Sleeveless cut works great with a black blouse underneath for colder days. True to size.
Wore this to a gothic tea party and everyone asked where I got it. The irregular hem is such a unique touch. Fabric is a bit stiff at first but softens after a wash. Fits true to size, maybe slightly roomy in the bust.
