The design is exactly what I wanted for my steampunk-ish outfits. V collar and buckles are cool details. Downside: the polyester makes me sweat if I wear it too long indoors. Also one buckle felt slightly loose out of the bag. Not a dealbreaker, just tighten it. Fits slim as described.
Ordered this for a photoshoot and it photographed great. Velvet texture shows up nicely, red pattern is subtle but visible. It is definitely slim cut, so if you have broad shoulders size up. I'm 6'0" 180 and the XL fits close but okay. Stitching seems fine. Would buy again in another color.
This thing is a beast. Wore it to a concert and stayed comfortable all night. The buckles actually adjust the side fit, which I didn't expect. Black velvet with red pattern looks expensive. Got asked where I bought it twice. Fits true to size if you like slim. I'm 5'9" 150 and small was right.
Good quality for the price, velvet has weight and the V collar is flattering. Only issue is the sizing. I'm a 40 chest and the large was snug across the back. Returned for XL. Also the red print is a bit brighter than the photos, more crimson than deep red. Still kept it.
Honestly bought this on a whim for a goth night and it exceeded expectations. The velvet feels soft, not cheap, and the red print pops against the black. V collar sits right, not too deep. Buckles are decorative but look solid. I'm 5'10" 165lbs and a medium fits slim but not tight. Got compliments all night.
I wear this over a black long sleeve for work and it reads retro gothic without being costume-y. Polyester velvet has a nice sheen under light. Buckles give it edge. Slim cut, so size up if you want room. I'm usually a large and went XL, happy I did. Washed on cold, hung dry, no issues.
