I wore this to a local Gothic Lolita meetup and got so many compliments. The velvet is soft and the four-way stretch makes it comfortable to sit in. The lace-up front and bow are well made. Long sleeves are great for cooler days. I'm 5'4" and the length is just below my knees.
I was worried about the stretch fabric feeling cheap, but it's actually very soft and high quality. The long sleeves and ruffled open front give it a romantic gothic vibe. I wore it to a convention and danced all night. The lace-up back adjusts nicely. Highly recommend.
The dress is gorgeous and well made, but I found it runs a bit small in the bust. I sized up and it fits better. The velvet is thick and the lace-up detail is beautiful. The bow is a bit floppy but I can fix it. Still a great buy for the price.
