Colors are exactly as shown, the red is a dark burgundy. The embroidery is only on the collar as described. It's a unique piece. I'm 5'7" and 150 lbs, the small fits snugly but perfect. Great craftsmanship.
This coat is a statement piece. The blend of textures (jacquard, velvet, and lace) is eye-catching. I wore it to a steampunk convention and it was a hit. The frog buttons are authentic Chinese style. I'm 6'2", 210 lbs, XL is perfect.

The coat is beautiful and well-made, but the sleeves are a bit long for my arms. I'm 5'9" and usually wear a medium, but the sleeves hang past my wrists. Otherwise, the fit is great. I'll need to have them tailored.
The design is fantastic, and the fabric feels durable. However, the inside is not lined, so it's not very warm. I'll wear it as a fashion piece in spring or autumn. I sized up for layering, and it still looks good.
