Wore this to a local meetup and got so many compliments. The fabric is polyester but doesn't feel plasticky. The bowknot is securely attached and the lace is delicate. I'm 5'4" and the length hits just above the knee, which I love. Definitely a sweet lolita staple.
The jacquard fabric has a subtle sheen that photographs beautifully. All the ruffles are evenly stitched and the lace doesn't fray. I sized up for a looser fit over a blouse and it worked perfectly. The purple is more lavender in person, which I prefer.
I've bought similar dresses that felt flimsy, but this one is sturdy. The jacquard weave is tight and the lace is neatly sewn. The ruffles don't droop. I wore it out for a birthday brunch and felt like a princess. The purple shade is true to the photos.
I was worried the purple would look cheap but it's actually a rich, deep shade. The jacquard pattern is stunning in person and the lace trim is soft, not scratchy. The ruffles and bowknot make it feel so princess-like. Fits true to size and the multi-layered skirt has a nice fullness.
This is my first sweet lolita dress and I'm obsessed. The multi-layered skirt gives great volume without a petticoat, though I'll still wear one. The purple is vibrant and the lace trim is soft. The bowknot at the neck is detachable, which is a nice touch. Highly recommend for beginners.
The dress itself is lovely, the lace and bowknot are high quality. However, the waist ran tighter than expected. I usually wear a medium but needed a large. Still, the jacquard design is elegant and the ruffles hold their shape after washing. Just check the size chart carefully.
The fabric is soft against the skin and the dress is fully lined, which I didn't expect. The bowknot and lace details are charming. I'm 5'7" and it hits mid-thigh, so more of a mini length on me. Still, it's a beautiful piece for the price.
